The beautiful life sized artwork by Mark Payton is made from scientific-grade glass and aluminum. I was spellbound by the gorgeous piece as I entered the pavilion. I would love to have one of these in my living room, yes, it's made for a large piece like that with a one and a half story ceiling.
The horse has now been taken apart by Mark and will be modified and reassembled as two horses facing away from each other with a DNA helix ajoining them. It will be displayed at Alltech headquarters by mid-November.

WEG - World Equestrian Games 2010 at The Kentucky Horse Park
Friday, the day before the Opening Ceremonies, I had the chance to stroll around the park and photograph. Here is what I found. A company from California, Scripps Shows, has these amazing brightly coloured circus animals that are going to be a part of the Opening Ceremony tonight and some a part of the Closing Ceremonies!
The entrance to the grounds is just breathtaking…as you enter the gates by the lake you’ll look over the water and see a Land Rover, one of the sponsors for the games, floating in the lake. Behind that…which you will probably notice much sooner than the Land Rover floating on water is an amazing work of art that covers the back and sides of the metal seating on the South side of the Alltech Arena. There is also another one on the back of the West seating. They are breathable and almost see-thru as you get closer to them, but as you can see from my images, when you are back away from them they are amazing photography pieces!
